Choosing Arabic
Arabic is a Semitic language which is spoken by millions of people worldwide. All Arabs speak their particular dialect but have to learn Classical Arabic which is the language of the Quran. Maltese students study the grammar and vocabulary of Modern Standard Arabic rather than that of Classical Arabic. This course aims to improve the students’ knowledge of the language and increase their fluency while providing an insight into the language’s rich literary and historical traditions.
