Earth Day is an annual celebration that honours the achievement of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources.
Our school will be celebrating this event on Friday 21st April 2023. Staff and students can contribute by bringing organic waste to school and disposing of it in a special bin outside the Horticulture field. This will be used on Friday’s composting activity in which we will be setting-up a compost bin.
Students and staff are also encouraged to bring reusable cutlery and coffee cups on Friday. The canteen will be serving a selection of pescetarian, vegetarian and vegan food on the day.
