Today our school observed World AIDS Day with an insightful and educational Gallery Walk led by our Biology department.
Our biology students were stationed at different stands, each representing a different sexually transmitted disease (STD). As other students visited each stand, they explained the transmission, prevention, and treatments for each STD, spreading awareness and knowledge about these critical health issues.
In addition to this, we also hosted members from the Malta Medical Students Association (MMSA) who visited some of our classes to engage in discussions about various aspects of gender identity and expression.
The MMSA will be back at Higher Secondary tomorrow for a career talk related to the field of medicine. This talk will be coordinated by the GCHSS Guidance & Counselling Service.
