Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School has once again participated in the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JA-YE) Malta 2015-2016 Company Programme.  The company, ‘Bubble’, experienced how to take their business idea and turn it into reality.  Their product ‘PressnCord’ are homemade personalised cards with a technological twist. ‘Bubble’ was composed of six students, namely: Francesca Gauci (Managing Director), Davinia Agius (Sales Director), Michaela Muscat (Marketing Director), Claudio Stewart (Quality Director), Martha Vassallo (Company Secretary),  and Francesca Zammit (Finance Director). These students were led by their link teacher Ms Elaine Vella Magri Demajo, Subject Co-ordinator for Economics and their Business Advisor Mr Alan Meers..

The JA-YE 2015-2016 final awards was the last event whereby 14 teams gave a final presentation in front of a panel of judges and the audience.  This took place on Saturday, 14th May at the Grand Master’s Suite, Hilton. ‘Bubble’ was presented with the Best Quality Systems Award and Company of the Year 2nd Runners-up Award.

The JA-YE experience provides students with an opportunity to develop important skills that are beneficial for both their prospective career as well as for their personal life.
