Course Content
- Students can choose any subject/s at any level, provided that they meet the prerequisites listed under each subject as found in the prospectus.
- Most subjects may be studied at both first and second years.
- A programme consisting of Biology, Chemistry and Physics Practicals alone is available for IPAL students.
Subject Choice
- Subjects may be chosen at any level, as explained in the Course Content above.
- No subject may be taken at both advanced and intermediate level.
- Choice of subjects may be dependent on timetable constraints.

- Languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Maltese, Maltese as a Foreign Language, Spanish
- Humanities: Accounting, Classical Studies, Economics, Geography, History, Marketing, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Knowledge, Sociology
- Sciences: Applied Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Environmental Science, Physics, Pure Mathematics
- Arts & Technology: Art, Engineering Drawing & Graphical Communication, Home Economics & Human Ecology, Information Technology, Music, Physical Education, Theatre & Performance Studies, Systems of Knowledge (SOK)
Eligibility Criteria
- The IPAL Course is open to all students who have either completed a two year Sixth Form course, or will be at least 18 years of age by 31st December 2025.
