Choosing Engineering Drawing and Graphical Communication
Graphical Communication is essential for communicating ideas in industry and engineering. Drawing is considered as a visual language and thus students are taught how to produce drawings which are easy to read. During the course students will also learn how to use a variety of symbols, perspectives, units of measurement, notation systems, visual styles and page layouts. These standards help to ensure that the drawings produced are relatively easy to understand. Students at GCHSS are also given the opportunity to learn Computer Aided Design (CAD) to enrich their drawing skills.
