The  BEWARE project is designed to  raise awareness among youths about potential dangers online, whilst also equipping them with new skills, knowledge and the power to not only protect themselves, but to also become responsible digital users themselves.

GCHSS will be holding an information session on this project on Wednesday 24th October at 11.00 in the Conference Room.

It is a great opportunity for students to attend this information session as it will include a lot of useful information regarding cyber safety and a showcase of sources/online platforms and organisations which they can seek support and guidance from in this area should they ever need it.

After the information session, should any of the students feel they would like to get involved further, 15 students can proceed to collaborate with the project managers. Some of the opportunities this collaboration will provide  include:
  • Learning to facilitate focus group discussion with peers;
  • Testing one of the projects outputs: the BEWARE Educational Digital Game.
It would also be a great asset to include volunteering for an EU Project on their resumes.
