On the 28th March, GCHSS organised a Foreign Language Day for Form 4 students attending organised on the 28th March at GCHSS was a great success! This activity was aimed at Form 4 students attending State, Church and Private Schools.

Speakers from the University of Malta, European Union, Foreign Affairs Office, Translation Section and the Hospitality Industry were invited and delivered talks regarding the importance of foreign languages in these sectors.  Furthermore GCHSS students as well as guests sang various songs in Arabic, French, German, Italian, and Spanish which are the foreign  languages taught at GCHSS.

The highlight of the activity was a Treasure Hunt, where GCHSS students led over 500 visiting students around the school looking for hints while practising the foreign languages being learnt. The enthusiasm shown during this activity proved that language learning can indeed be fun.
