On Thursday 20th April, two of our first year students Maximillain Gedecke and Thomas Grixti, competed in the first edition of the Linguistic Olympiad which was held at the University of Malta. The students were prepared for the competition by Mr Ayrton Brincat (a former student) as well as by Ms Joann Bondin and Ms Lara Sammut from the English Department. The students enjoyed this challenging competition which is going to be organised annually by the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology at the University of Malta.
