Following a number of queries about the procedures to be adopted once the academic year begins, kindly note the following points:

When is the first day of school?

First day of school is scheduled for Thursday 1st October through a virtual meeting for all students. A link for this meeting will be sent during the week.

How will timetables be given out?

All students will receive their timetable in their inbox.

Will lessons be held live for those students at home to be able to participate?

Various learning styles will apply during online teaching and learning.

Will students who are sick but should be at school that week, be able to participate in online lessons?

There is no problem with that however if you are sick during the week where you are expected to be at school you must produce a medical certificate just the same.

What is going to happen in the case of practicals?

Details will be provided when we resume school.

How will homework be submitted? Will it be only online?

It is up to the teacher concerned to determine how home works will be submitted.

What happens if the weather does not permit students to stay outdoors but indoors is full up?

Under such circumstances we might decide to hold online lessons only.

Will the school be open for students who reach school early or leave late due to public transport?

School is always open early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

Will students who are vulnerable or live with vulnerable people be allowed to follow online lessons everyday instead of week in and week out?

These will be treated on a case by case basis. Further information will be available in the coming days.
